Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and the Importance of Restful Sleep - (EAP)

Human Resources has partnered with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to bring this workshop to University of Oregon employees.  This seminar will first provide a brief review of stress, what it is and how it affects us.  Information on mindfulness will also be provided, including how mindfulness tools can help change relationships with thoughts, feelings and sensations related to stress.  Through in-session activities, participants will experience mindfulness practice. Participants will also learn tools that work best for them in the future.  The importance of restful sleep and quick tips for sleeping better will also be discussed.
