MyTrack Training: Demo

Description

Human Resources is launching a new talent mangement system to manage faculty and staff recruitment, replacing the NAPO for unclassified searches and the Request to Hire for classified searches. This demonstration will cover all aspects of the system from position descriptions to onboarding a new employee.  Specific topics include:

  • creation of position descriptions (copying a description, editing existing, and new)
  • position description approval process
  • opening a requisition for recruitment and the approval process
  • posting (sourcing) a job to the new Careers site
  • reviewing applications
  • system tools for search committees and search administrators for applicant evaluations including guides and forms for interviews and reference checking
  • proposing and making an offer including the release of the formal offer letter to the candidate
  • onboarding task-lists for supervisors and candidates
  • new employee “portal”

We will wrap the demo by walking through an application from the applicant’s point-of-view.

Recommended audience: hiring managers and administrative staff who will be launching recruitments during the fall months. Participation at a demo is highly recommended prior to attending hands-on training.
