Action Guidelines
Step 1: Get approval
Partner with your supervisor to discuss your professional development goals, align those efforts with departmental goals, and make written arrangements for release time to complete the agreed upon learning experiences - at no cost for departments.

Step 2: Obtain Access
Click here to access your Duck ID login, type in your Duck ID and password and click on Skillport to access the e-learning catalog (for benefits eligible employees only).

Step 3: Select Your Course
or Learning Track
Learning tracks are comprehensive approaches to learning a subject. However, you may complete courses that are not within a track by searching the Skillsport Catalog either by keyword search or by a computer listing.

Step 4: Track Your Training
Enroll into the course or Learning Program of your choice and Skillport will keep track of your progress. Each time you enter the course, you will be able to see what you have completed and what remains to be completed.
Courses must be completed with a score of 70% or greater in the post test to be listed as completed.

Step 5: Complete the Certification Process
For those who complete a learning program, fill-out the “Learning Program Completions Form to receive your certificate. After completing the course, an option to print a certificate will appear.
This new resource provides you with training at your finger tips. We will also be working with supervisors to help them use this robust learning resource optimally. This is a partnership building tool for you and your supervisor to use in planning professional development opportunities.
